Achieving New Heights HPV ECHO

This session provides an overview of the ECHO model and facilitates networking and relationship building amongst participants who will be taking part in the series.

During this session, we review the science around Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), the cancers related to it, and the recommendations for administering the HPV vaccination.

This session focuses on the value of a strong provider recommendation, using all adolescents visits as an opportunity to vaccinate, and administration of the vaccine starting at age 9.

During this session, we talk through the use of health information technology (HIT) to help increase HPV vaccinations with a special focus on patient reminder campaigns that adapt cancer prevention messaging.

This session introduces and identifies American Cancer Society’s quality improvement methods and programs that utilize evidence-based interventions to increase HPV vaccinations.
